Useful advice

Reduce the temperature as soon as the food begins to boil or gets browned. This way you will get the best cooking result and save energy. Overheating the pan may ruin both the food and the cookware. An empty pan must not be left on a hot hob. The pan, and even the hob, may be damaged. Make sure there is always some liquid or fat in the pan while in use.
NB! Detergents with a high pH value may damage the enamel, plastic and glass parts, uncoated aluminium surface (e.g. on the bottom, flameguards) and plastic coating on the exterior of the cookware with time. We recommend use of rinse agent.

Steel cookware

Wash a new product using a mild detergent before first use. Remove stickers and labels.
Each piece of our steel cookware is made from stainless steel. The products are very durable and conduct heat extremely well.

The steel products are dishwasher safe.

Coated cookware

Frypans and sautepan:
The frypans and the sautepan in the Match range have a durable coating, Hardtec 5000, on the inside, which makes the products easy to use and clean. The body of the products is either aluminium or 18/10 stainless steel.

Wash a new product using a mild detergent before first use. Remove stickers and labels. Treat the inner surface with some cooking oil. Due to the slippery surface, the products are easy to clean by hand, using a normal detergent. If you use a dishwasher, treat the inner surface from time to time with some cooking oil, since detergents for dishwashers tend to dry the coating. We recommend hand washing for Hard Face. We do not recommend storing food in coated products after cooking of frying.

Coated cookware makes cooking easy and more healthy. You can use less fat and a lower temperature for frying, and the food will not burn so easy.

Use moderate temperature – position 4 at the most (scale 1-6) - for long lasting frying. More than 250º C will damage the coating and weaken its non-stick properties. Reduce the temperature as soon as the food begins to boil or gets browned. You can detect the temperature by adding a drop of water or some fat to the pan. The water will evaporate at 100º C and the fat begins to smoke at about 200º C.

Wok:
The inner surface of the wok pan is coated with Ceratec°,a new type of ceramic coating that endures high temperature. It is designed for heavy frying, it is also suitable for flambéing. You will get the best frying result by adding fat into the dish before you start frying. Adjust the temperature of the stove according to what you are frying.

The dish is suitable for all sorts of stoves, especially for very fast and effective induction and gas stoves. The Ceratec° coating endures metallic utensils, but not sharp objects or cutting. The body 18/10 stainless steel, bakelite parts.

Remove all paper and plastic labels. Wash the dish before you use it for the first time. Wash the dish immediately after use by hands or in the dishwasher. Possible embedded dirt can be removed with a dish brush and hot water. The dish can, if necessary, be soaked in a mild dish washing powder.

Very embedded dirt can be removed by boiling a table spoon of dish washing powder in 1 l of water. Finally, rinse carefully.
