Niina Aalto

The young Finnish designer and illustrator Niina Aalto (*1976) graduated from the ceramics and glass design department of the Kuopio Academy of Design in 2004. She is currently continuing her studies at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. Niina’s fondness for animal stories and children’s books is reflected in much of her work, and the collection of spoons entitled Animal Friends was an entirely natural and very rewarding work for Niina.
