  • Lion, the design classic created in 1958, is now returning to Finnish dining tables in honour of Hackman’s anniversary.
  • Designer Bertel Gardberg designed Lion cutleryseries for Hackman at 1958. The updated Lion cut-lery has been adapted to a modern size. In this way, it meets the needs of modern eating and modern dinner sets, which have become larger over time.
  • The original Lion cutlery goes beautifully together with the new cutlery and can be used, for exam-ple, as cutlery for starters and desserts alongside the new, slightly larger, range.
  • Lion cutlery is made from stainless steel and machine washable plastic.
  • The designer Bertel Gardberg (1916–2007) was one of Scandinavia’s most famous designers and artist-craftsmen. During his lifetime, Bertel Gardberg received several international honours. Gard-berg’s design work for Hackman included the Carelia cutlery range and Lion cutlery, which is now being re-launched.
