How to choose cookware
Cookware
Cooking is an activity that requires enthusiasm, skill and the right tools. All three elements are equally important for a successful outcome.
Professional chefs are aware of the different characteristics of different materials and they know that producing a delicious meal depends to a large degree on the quality of the tools. Hackman cookware is designed for demanding use and for people who appreciate products that are durable and easy to care for.
Guide to frying pans
Hackman has teamed up with food professionals to develop the ’frying pan concept’, with the aim of helping you, the consumer, to select the most appropriate product for the purpose.
The concept defines five different categories of use, into which all Hackman cookware products can be grouped: hard frying, light frying, simmering, wokking and making pancakes. The products have been given points on a scale from one to five, depending on their applicability for the purpose. They are also divided into two categories according to the material used in them: coated products and cast-iron products.
The product that is best suited to the specific frying procedure is given five points in the guide, but even a complete lack of points does not mean that the product cannot be used for that purpose.
